What is the other side of life? It is our inner life. Our inner life is
not something foreign to us, we are using it all the time. Our inner life is
made up of our emotions, memories, mind, intuition and the happy part of
ourselves, Soul. That’s what our inner worlds consist of and the inner worlds
of all the people around us.
A wonderful system
If we look at our emotions we can see lots of them. Happy, sad, angry,
calm, warm, cold, welcoming, hostile, and all the variations in between them.
Our memories are even more extensive, spanning our lives from childhood to now.
We have memories of friends, family, school mates, work colleagues and people
we've met on the street. Some even have memories from other lifetimes. Let’s
not forget all that we've read, been taught, observed, experienced and lived
through. All these are filed away in our memory.
Then we have the mind. For a

How can we connect with the other side of life?
Hints, nudges, feelings that something is right or wrong, a series of coincidences,
a message which stands out for us from the radio, TV or other media. These are occurring
all the time. We may pick up some of them but we need to bring up our awareness
of them to get an insight into the other side of life. How can we validate our
inner thoughts and experiences and increase our awareness? Here are a few
ideas…
Keeping a Journal
Keeping a journal is an excellent way of validating our inner thoughts
and experiences. If we keep a note of the feelings, hints and nudges we get, we
can use our notes to check back on them at a
later date. We can see what did happen and compare our earlier feelings
about the situation. If we were right our notes will help confirm and
validate our inner feelings. If we were wrong we can see how we went wrong and
how we got the wrong meaning from the signs we picked up. Over time and with
some practice, we will begin to get in tune with the messages we receive and we’ll
begin to open the curtain to the other side of life.
Contemplating on our thoughts

Acting on inner recommendations
The next step is to begin to test the ideas and insights we receive
from the other side of life. We start small with one or two minor ideas to see
if they work. We could see if a nudge to go in a different direction to our
usual route brings any surprises. We try and idea which popped into our head as
we worked on a project, to see if it brings any new solutions. We could add a new ingredient to our usual
recipe to see if adds a new flavour to our meal. We could contact the person
who just came to mind for no particular reason and share how things are in life
at the moment.
As we try these out, we’ll begin to gain more confidence in the insights we are receiving. After a while we’ll begin to see how the other side of life operates in our regular life. As our confidence in the hints, nudges and intuitions we receive grow, we will begin to see more and more of the other side of life. We are becoming more aware all the time.
Welcome to the other side of life.
